About you (a note from Emma & Emilia)
Do you feel like an imposter? Doubt your own knowledge? Wish you could feel confident in your message as a coach? Or long for someone you respect to bounce ideas off and get some feedback?
We recognise that as a fitness professional, it’s not only your knowledge holding you back from maximising your client results (and business success). It’s the application of that knowledge to the real world, the development of skills of behaviour change, the evaluation of your clients and the ability to provide a person-centred approach to change. If you’re reading this, you’re already a coach who cares a lot, we know that, but you deserve to translate that empathy and care into successful client journeys and a more successful business.
Being a personal trainer or coach can be lonely, and even the most introverted of us still need authentic connection with other like-minded people. We’ve been amazed by the connections built in the EIQ community between students and graduates, many of whom have formed personal as well as business partnerships. We, too, have made some incredible connections.
Having been in your position, we completely recognise the impact of imposter syndrome on your business, your self-assurance in authority with your clients as well as your business and marketing. For a lot of you, rather than treating your imposter syndrome as evidence that you’re doing something brave, it stops you from pushing for what you deserve. We have a huge focus of this in EIQ, testament to our core value of empowerment, and you’ll see many of our students and graduates testifying to their new found confidence and the impact this has on their client relationships.
